Greetings people

You receive this information because you have registered for the pre-sale of the forthcoming Seigmen DVD release. We want to give you an update of the progress.

First; Most of you have payed for the DVD, but there is still quite a few that have registered but not payed. This is of course entirely up to you, but we will soon erase all registrants that have chosen not to complete the purchase. We will send out a payment receipt confirmation to all of you that have payed befeore we do anything. The rest of you will also receive a warning before we erase you, but this will happen in the near future. The confirmations will be sent out as soon as we have implemented this functionality in our database.
We hope that the rest of you will complete the purchase as well - we can promise you all that you have something to look forward to.

DVD project

The DVD project turned out to be a much bigger task than we anticipated before we started. It´s not really one DVD, but two and a half packed as one release. Our producer team Lars Martin Kræmer and Pål Martin Rossing at Transmission have worked more or less constantly since early October 2005 on this project. Our first release estimate was mid March, obviously a bit optimistic. I´m very glad to report that we now see light in the end of this long tunnel. Here´s the status as of april 12th.

Dodens Dal concert

The reunion concert in Dodens dal was filmed using 12 cameras, 2 dollies and 1 crane. This equals over 30 hours of recorded material. The long process of selecting angles and editing is now finished. The sound is processed and the 5.1 mix was finished on monday the 10th. Some post-production remains before it can be transfered to DVD

Fra X documentary

An almost 2 hour long film about Seigmen from the beginning in 1989 to the end in 1999. It features lots of very honest interviews with the band and the people around them and plenty of previously unreleased pictures and video.
It´s been an enormous task for our little crew to compile the material and turn a couple of hundred of video-hours into the definitive story about Seigmen.
Most of the editing is done, but a some fine tuning remains. Next step is to add english subtitles.

Dødens dal documetary

About the time after the split and up to the reunion. Follow the band as they prepare for the reunion.
Almost finished, a bit of editing and subtitling remains.

The recording of Metropolis

We will include a segment of Seigmens own private video recordings from the Metropolis sessions in LA. Edited and finished.

Bonus material

Videos, old live videorecordings, pictures and gooodies. More or less finished

Everything will be finished in the beginning of May. We will then start to compile it into a double DVD. Those of you that have pre-payed it will receive it in the beginning of june if we don´t run into any problems.

Extra bonus

We have promised to include a CD version of Klisne Seigmens old 5-track demo “Det finnes alltid en utvei” with your pre-payed DVD. This demo is known to many die-hard fans, but the limited production of only 50 copys makes it almost impossible to get hold of one. But did you know that Klisne Seigmen made another demo as well? This one was recorded in a radio studio, and Noralf operated a drum machine since there was no room for his drum kit. The demo has no name, and the distribution of it was very limited. The search for archive material have reveiled some hidden goodies, and this demo have surfaced after beeing lost for over 15 years.

We have decided to include theese recordings on the bonus DVD as well to compensate for the longer wait. Some extremely rare material for you there...
